About us

Museum MORE in Gorssel houses a famous collection, owned by Hans Melchers, containing works by leading Dutch realist artists of the past 100 years. The collection is a significant part of Dutch national cultural heritage. MORE has prime pieces by Carel Willink, Jan Mankes, Pyke Koch and Charley Toorop.

Next to its own collection, Museum MORE showcases temporary exhibitions highlighting national and international figurative art.

With more than 70 paintings, Museum MORE brings a tribute to the work of Jan Beutener (1932). Beutener is a discoverer of things. In his realism, the detail that strikes him is central. A look back at 50 years of artistry.
