About us
Museum MORE is the most beautiful and largest museum for modern realism in Europe. With two breathtaking locations: Museum MORE in Gorssel and Museum MORE | Kasteel Ruurlo. Founded in 2015 as a private initiative, it is a vibrant and ambitious museum showcasing the rich spectrum of figurative top art from the 20th century to the present. It deliberately explores the boundaries of what "realism" can be, breaking barriers in surprising ways. With its international focus, the museum presents its Dutch collection in a broad and in-depth perspective of a century of realistic art. This is achieved through its own collection presentations and temporary exhibitions featuring art from both the Netherlands and abroad.
